I shall do a no glow-plug cold start so everyone with a wanky 4 cylinder petrol can appreciate a good flattery start.

155hp per litre n/a cold start and abrupt stop....I love the way the super lightweight internals make the engine stop the instant you hit the kill switch 8-)

This engine is over 20 kilos lighter than a bone stock K20.

Sounds smoother than I expected Dan...that yours? You not finished that yet!? ;) but please, not the "bone stock" :(

Still want to own a V10 at some point, assume that's standard exhaust @tim ? always loved the long high-pitched noise starters make on the big engines.

That was especially for you lot, I can’t stand ‘stock’ or ‘bone stock’ either 😁

Yes it’s mine, it’s almost finished, honest….

Smoother than a more conventional race engine would be due to the roller rockers on a Honda engine enabling cam profiles you can’t achieve on a tappet, which means extremely fast valve acceleration enabling you to reduce overlap but still achieve 15.5mm of lift. Hence it still ticks over quite smooth despite making over 330hp at 10k 8-)

I did one for my 86 a while back with my normal talking voice at the beginning for context (using a mic with fixed audio gain)

Steady idle that, with what sounds like a 100g flywheel 8-)

Flywheel is just over a kilo, entire flywheel and clutch assembly is 3 kilos - its a twin plate 5.5" diameter setup which meant it needed a thousand pound starter motor with a drop down gear to reach it, as i've got a single seater flywheel setup with a starter in the standard position rather than mounted on the back of an inline gearbox like they'd usually be.
