Yikes!
Re: Yikes!
About £20k I imagine?
My cousin (a clueless NCG) was telling me at the weekend how much he despises his new EQB. Went back to the dealer after 1200 miles to see if he could part exchange it for a regular GLB but was told the car is now worth £15,000 less!

Re: Yikes!
they probably get more by registering it as used (and hiking up the APR on the finance because it’s now used - so 10.9% instead of 7.9%) than they would offering a big discount to try and sell it as new. i bet the one owner was the manager.
Re: Yikes!
The ad says it was registered 28 March, so was that full list with options? Shouldn't be over list price from a main dealer, unregistered.
The P400 seems no longer to be available anyway.

What does he despise about it? Didn't he test drive one first?Mito Man wrote: Thu Aug 22, 2024 1:06 pm About £20k I imagine?

Re: Yikes!
Problem isn’t necessarily the car, he just doesn’t get on with the EV side of things so I’m not sure what preconceptions he had about it.Zonda_ wrote: Thu Aug 22, 2024 3:49 pmWhat does he despise about it? Didn't he test drive one first?Mito Man wrote: Thu Aug 22, 2024 1:06 pm About £20k I imagine?

Only issue it has is occasionally the display in it won’t turn on and requires multiple resets, been to Mercedes for a software update but still doing it. Did it in front of me too. So he’s hoping it’s something they can’t fix so he can try to reject it.

self declared car guys on here don’t even test drive cars before buying, i can’t see the average punter going to the effort!Zonda_ wrote: Thu Aug 22, 2024 3:49 pmWhat does he despise about it? Didn't he test drive one first?Mito Man wrote: Thu Aug 22, 2024 1:06 pm About £20k I imagine?

Yeah, but if we do (did) test drive things and post about them, nobody would read itRich B wrote: Thu Aug 22, 2024 5:13 pm self declared car guys on here don’t even test drive cars before buying, i can’t see the average punter going to the effort!

you don’t have to post about everything you do, some things you can do for yourself!Jobbo wrote: Thu Aug 22, 2024 5:58 pmYeah, but if we do (did) test drive things and post about them, nobody would read itRich B wrote: Thu Aug 22, 2024 5:13 pm self declared car guys on here don’t even test drive cars before buying, i can’t see the average punter going to the effort!Bit boring and only really of interest to the person buying.
Re: Yikes!
Will read that later Rich, I’m going for a shit.

If anyone, car guy or not, is prepared to spend that kind of cash without driving one first they get no sympathy!Rich B wrote: Thu Aug 22, 2024 5:13 pmself declared car guys on here don’t even test drive cars before buying, i can’t see the average punter going to the effort!Zonda_ wrote: Thu Aug 22, 2024 3:49 pmWhat does he despise about it?
