No, just a normal one casually driving along in the mid week early morning sunshine. Black with red bumper stripes, but unlikely to have been an actual sport evo.
Cheers, Harry

About ten years ago I saw an absolutely filthy E30 M3 on german plates. Was rare to see one so well used even then.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
I’m often tempted just to do the underside / mechanical stuff on mine and leave the outside scruffy.
Firstly so I’m not scared to use it, secondly because decent bodywork is absurdly expensive these days!

There’s something quite cool about mechanical sound rare old cars that are a bit tatty and well used
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Went along to an Autobahn Scotland event this morning. Often members-only, this one was open to guests also. Not sure if it was the first one they'd done in the West of Scotland (usually they are East or Northern - dunno) but the weather was loverly and loads of cars turned up. Spotted Gordon Shedden, but he was busy yapping to folks.
Blue GT3 had loads of blue detailing. The blue wheel rims were paint. Blue.
Roller was rondinculously sumptuous opulence. Electric curtains on rear and rear side windows.
Skyline was wearing ridiculously stretched 225's.
Europa was lovely. F430 followed me for the last few miles to the event (only in 30 and 40 limits annoyingly).
Mini was a 1380 and was running a filthy cam. Sounded intense. Tyres were pretty extreme.
GT3 touring was lovely. Wasn't manuel though.
Rear of 750S was almost entirely mesh. Overheard owner telling someone he'd traded in a 720S for it, and it was a significant upgrade.
GT3RS was simultaneously amazing and really quite silly out in a real-world environment. Road abilities almost completely lost now in the interests of RACECAR.

That's a really cool collection of cars turning up - something for everyone.
I've never seen a Porsche in that colour - was the RS a wrap?
Unless you're regularly doing track days, what is the upper ceiling of sensible in the 911 range? GT3 Touring?

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Saw one of these earlier, an electric Mustang ambulance
felt incongruous for some reason

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
And yet it's not correct as it has the hideous 512M wheels on!

Yep, massive downgrade there!
Really not a fan of the current gt3 rs, especially in a blend of custard/ hearing aid beige.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Weird - not sure why you'd go for the latest 512M wheels if you were changing when the ones on the 512 are the best looking and are less obviously "wrong" than a 512 which has the very recognisable plexi lights (where the front of the 512 is just a different grille to the TR).

Nissan GTR.
These used to be a common site near me.....but it's the first one I've seen in ages. Wonder where they all went.

It’s probably that thing where nice ones are in collections and cheap ones are sitting in garages with the heads off after being boosted to the moon.

It is. A neighbour had one when I was a kid.
Edit - His was an estate and he was an antiques dealer, a very stylish load lugger.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
That’s really cool, electric is well suited for a hearse. Lots of short local journeys where it can silently creep along
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
I wouldn't fancy range anxiety if I was in the back of the ambulance, but I'm OK with the hearse.
