I love Christmas. Watching the kids faces wen they see what Santa brought and unwrapping stuff is lovely. The three month run upon the other hand.......
Only mention of it I’ve heard so far is every cunt who goes to date a document saying “oh can you believe it’s September already it will be Christmas soon.”
Yes you fucking docile twat, it’s September and there’s still a crap load of days left before Christmas unless you have such a shit mediocre boring existence that the only two fucking days that register in your vegetable of a brain are your birthday and Xmas/new year.
It’s early September which means it’s 6 weeks before people at work remember that Christmas is coming and need us to do 4 months worth of work by Christmas Eve.
Not looking forward to it this year. My old man is quite ill, respiratory illness and liver damage (both genetic conditions). Winter has not been kind to him in the past and he has deteriorated a lot this year. I fear that it won't be a happy Christmas this year.

Hope he is ok Carl.
We went to the Barbados one Xmas that was weird seeing xmas trees by the beach - saying that it was better than being at home.

Off to the west coast of Scotland. That's our present to everyone as my inlaws, my parents and sister in law plus partner are coming.
I shall walk the dog, get drunk, play with the kids and eat for a week !!

Dave!
Did you not do something similar last year? I am sure I read about drunk and dog walking while avoiding the rest of them?

Just had the 'which parents are coming for Xmas' discussion this morning.
Yeah, this always ends up as everyone coming to ours as no one else reckons they have the space/can handle the stress.
It's also my sister's 40th this year (her birthday is Christmas Day) so that's more fun.

I asked for advice on here and booked it around Feb time from memory so may have been that.
While shopping in Sainsburys earlier I looked at the reduced stuff and there were some turkey and pigs in blankets sandwiches in festive packaging with a use by date of today
I've never much liked the name pigs in blankets either.
The Coke lorry can fuck off as well.
