Bear in mind that the Spyder has carbon bodywork too which will reduce the weight over a mainstream Boxster. The roof looks quite complicated so it may not actually be any lighter than the normal roof.

I thought the RS had the GT3’s engine whilst the 4.0 GTS is a separate unit? Haven’t watched the video yet

Eta: yes it does, and evo gave it 5 stars!

Love it, that engine!

I’ll have a blue one with the bonnet sprayed the same colour.

The engine is the reason to have a Spyder RS. There is the normal Spyder which has the same engine as the GTS 4.0. That’s probably more where I should direct my ire. Stick the GT3 engine in a normal GTS please.

You may be right. But it just raises another 2 questions
1/ Why does a 1995 vehicle not have seatbelts?
B/ And if for some reason it came like that - why TF would you not fit some?

I just made out lap belts for the rear seats, so I'm guessing the front has lap belts too.
How about not having a sig at all?

What a beast. Goodness knows who specced the front like that or why.

It's got a touch of 200 BRM about the nose.

I have to say, I like it.

That spec just looks like lipstick on a pig. The car itself doesn’t look good to me at all, it’s based on a model (the last V12 Vantage) which wasn’t liked and suffers the really crap interior. Which it looks like they just left the gear gaiter off.

I think Harry was quite generous to it.

Yeah, I really like how it looks but the interior is a joke for £1.5mil.

Bits of it are interesting, but as a whole - for £eyewatering - it feels very like a fund generator with wealthy collectors firmly in the sights.

The "exposed shift" does indeed look like they have just removed the gaiter. Bizarre. :?

The rear looks stoopid with a very limited number of louvres only. I do like the tweed headlining, but whilst it may just be the way Harry has set the seat (or maybe he's trying to rub @Sundayjumper 's nose in it?) - but he has zero support at shoulder height, and the headrest seems to rest approximately 300mm behind his head. :geek: (see around 12m40s in the vid)

And it's constant fight for traction reminded me of the manuel Supra I drove.... it's not an appealing trait. Not much good having 715nm/527lbs.ft of torque of the drivetrain can't deploy it until you are in 4th/5th/6th. :?

I didn’t realise the Victor started as a 1-77; someone had seriously deep pockets to make that happen!

Yeah, not my £1.5m car choice..

I watched the Spectre one recently; the depreciation was a bit of a shock! Lovely car though, obviously not in that colour, and wouldn’t really be able to tour Europe in it as it lacks the range, but it looks nice!

I think all of the Stroll era Astons have been a bit like that. Nice enough but not much want for them.
