Today I learned that there seems to be an official competition amongst law enforcement to select the coolest looking "cruiser" each year.

I like the Turkish way of confiscating cars from criminals and reusing them in their own fleet.

They also have department drag cars and go to some car meets too. A pretty good way to be aware of the car culture and gain some respect too.

The 70s dodges and plymouths where they were putting Charger running gear in big saloons were pretty cool.

Most of them have been broken up for people to make 440 engined muscle cars though.
