I think this is a statement from Lando that he's not going to put up with Max being a twat and if he tries to run him off the road he will probably take himself out.

That won't stop him though. It hasn't before when others have stood their ground. He'll just whinge like a fanny even more than he did before.Jimmy Choo wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2024 4:53 pm I think this is a statement from Lando that he's not going to put up with Max being a twat and if he tries to run him off the road he will probably take himself out.
Re: No F1 thread?
Also as Andrea Sidle alluded the current rules allow this and it’s still advantageous to do it. Max took out his championship rival, got a 10 second penalty, still extended his championship lead.
And once you have a championship lead you can just take out the other guy because worst case your lead remains the same.

The "no moving under braking" rule was brought in because of Max. They just need to apply the rules consistently (and build a naughty step for Max).
I look forward to this weekend's F1 bumper cars at Silverstone.

What they need is a good old fashioned punch up. Remember when drivers used to get that irate they'd start swinging?

Ollie Bearman to Haas for next year.
Re: No F1 thread?
Half the grandstands are empty for this. Guess Silverstone have found out how much they can shaft the public for.

It’s a roving ticket day but You can only go in them with a grandstand ticket, and they sell a lot as Sunday only tickets, see what it’s like tomorrow. As for the cost we went every year from 2013 to 2022, including the year that was a Covid exposure experiment. We haven’t been the last 2 years as the cost has become difficult to justifyMito Man wrote: Sat Jul 06, 2024 3:36 pm Half the grandstands are empty for this. Fucking amazing drive! Honestly don’t think any other driver could have done that on those tyres.

First live race I’ve watched in ages, and it just flew by!
Shame for Lando, think he would have had an easy win on the mediums at the last stint.
Lewis now has the most wins of any driver, and the most wins at a single track of any driver.
