I didn’t buy it. Spent Sunday looking/researching my other want. Out of curiosity I did look into each of the C5s and not a single one was manual. I don’t think I saw any C6 manuals either apart from a Z06.

Why can’t I just be into something simple to find like a shitty old Rover

What do 355s go for these days? Sitting at 50K just now.

Weird that there's all this work been done but its not been service since 2021.

Yellow wouldn't be my choice, but still love the 355. That interior looks really, really tired though. Sun damage, maybe?

Cheapest 355 is about £90k on AT... (ignoring the £80k one at Motorhub which has apparently been there since 2017??? )

£80k, less miles, also a Spider and Manuel, not yellow

ETA ad says manual, photos suggest otherwise.

They always look like they need wheel spacers. The diameter and ratio of tyres/wheel/arches is perfect, they just need them to sit a little further out - particularly the fronts. Lovely looking cars though.

I know that’s not an uncommon opinion for many cars, but I generally prefer cars to look factory. I saw a B7 Audi RS4 last week and it was very tidy and looked nice and standard except that the wheels were flush with the arches. Which might sound good but it looked like there was nowhere for the wheels to go when the suspension compresses.

ETA: Porsche are fuckers because they sometimes fit spacers from the factory. Just make alloys with the correct offset you bells.

I get that, and like all things - you can definitely go too far and end up giving it the stance of a crappy Corsa on dodgy offset Wolfrace alloys.

But to me, this looks SO much better without looking "modified".

Agreed. That looks way more purposeful.

Not a sports car obvs, but I keep thinking of sticking 15mm spacers on Mrs mik’s e-tron. But she already struggles to avoid kerbs, so….

New cars are annoying when it comes to spacers and messing up the air curtains. But they always look better.

I'd forgotten that - my Boxster had the factory spacers on. They were pretty small, 5 or 8mm. Looking at an old photo of it, I think you'd struggle to notice the difference unless it was parked next to one without.

Agreed, that's much better

And seems to confirm that anyone buying a Ferrari has to get a blue one.

I hadn’t noticed this before. Thank you for ruining probably my favourite car ever.

I have a big soft spot for the 355

Think they look great

I remember randomly bumping into Brian Drought (formerly of this parish) at a service station on the M1 when we had his

He did a few flybys on the motorway while I had my windows down

His had a Tubi exhaust and sounded incredible!

I don't like the colour, but yeah - seems a lot of car for £21k! What's the catch?
