My neighbour 2 doors down (I don't know them or id be over there!) has just pulled into his drive in a black TVR Tuscan with red interior. I hadn't seen one for ages - My god it looks / sounds great!

This can be pretty amusing at times.

it just came back out, with some wedding ribbons - presumably hired/borrowed/friends for the day. Such a nice sound!

I nearly bought one when a decent one could be had for £15k. Both sad and glad I didn’t.

my mrs has said it does belong to the neighbour, it lives in a bubble on the driveway!

I've just seen a Dakar in the wild. To be honest, I'm not much a fan - it looked a bit cheap tbh - Like a nissan or something. I don't think the dumb roof rack helped.

Yep, London Concours. Not cheap but not too bad when bundled with a Smith & Smith podcast ticket. Nice relaxed afternoon wandering around some incredibly rare and expensive stuff with a cold beer in hand. Never got too busy either.

I saw Harry M by the Scamander but he was deep in phone conversation so I left him to it.

Was following this earlier. Don’t know much about it other than it’s an RSR rep and pops and bangs like a motherfucker.

That is actually pretty cool 8-) I'd assumed they went of production decades ago.

But maybe they should have done. From Wiki:
In 2002, the Lada Niva was awarded zero stars out of a possible four by the Russian ARCAP safety-assessment program. The reviewer noted the very rugged body of the car as the only positive aspect in terms of safety. During the safety test, the passenger dummy was hit by the glove compartment hard enough to risk traumatic brain injury.

Jonny Smith reviewed one a couple of years ago: https://uk.motor1.com/news/518096/jonny ... lada-niva/

I only know what that is because Lego did a model of it. First big Technic licensed set I haven’t bought. I might get it if I see it discounted; they launched it so early I didn’t really think anything of it but now I think the real thing is rather interesting.

It looks like a Matchbox toy from the 1970s imagining what they thought cars would look like in the future.

This was filling up near Newbury on Sunday:

Got around to looking it up today, was doing Street Weekend where they race at Santa Pod, York Raceway and back to Santa Pod again, like a mini version of Hot Rod Drag Week in the US. Presumably on his way home after - sounded awesome, but would not fancy driving it in the rain. Did an 8.61 on Saturday
