This is why you need that YouTube channel, do a comparison video, then strap them together for a tug of war. The monetisation would hopefully cover the destroyed transmissionsSundayjumper wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 11:31 amYeah. And the Cayenne too. Let's not forget the merch opportunities!
SundayJumper Garage: wine and spanners since 1998 (or whenever you started drinking/spannering).

Re: Your fleet running reports
Honestly thought that Steve would make a good YT channel
Re: Your fleet running reports
Something along the lines of “I bought the cheapest supercar, what’s wrong with it” interspersed with “I bought the cheapest 320d”
Or possibly “I got drunk and bought a Bentley”
Or possibly “I got drunk and bought a Bentley”
Re: Your fleet running reports
That would be a great concept - "Let's give Steve a box of wine, load up eBay and an PayPal account with £5k in it. Come back tomorrow morning to find out what he's bought"
Re: Your fleet running reports
I’d watch it! I haven’t got 5k, so where do I send the wine?
Re: Your fleet running reports
I don't underestimate the amount of work required to film YT content, but in terms of projects/interest, Steve's collection has an awful lot of appeal.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Is that right re the A pillars? IIRC they are covered in a fabric material (not alcantara) - I need to double check now!Jobbo wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 12:24 amYours is an Autobiography isn’t it? I thought that would mean alcantara headlining and pillars at least. The RRS Autobiography I went in felt nicely plush inside, and I’d always felt an RR is a step up.Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2024 7:34 pm Actually it’s interesting to compare to the Bentley. I was slightly surprised that the a-pillars in the RR are just coloured plastic. The Bentley has leather, it’s leather *everywhere*.
ETA: are you referring to the bit inside the window that connects to the A pillar and houses the tweeter for the sound system?

New evo meet format? Between us we can cobble together the camera expertise, I'll chuck in a couple of bottles* and well, someone else can pitch in £5k.
*why isn't there a wine thread?
