That's a shame as I was halfway through mentally drafting a response to explain why I believe this to be the case

Disenchantment

It's not Futurama, but it's pretty enjoyable. Looks like they're actually planning on having more of a plot in this, so it's less of a 'dip in dip out' series than the Simpsons or Futurama, but I don't think that's a bad thing.

7/10 for part 1, looking forward to part 2, slated for later this year on Netflix.

i watched the first two and there was barely a snigger to be had. It was boring to be honest.

It was much like the Simpsons film.

Watched the last episode last night - bit of a let down but some proper creepy acting from the "Killer" :?

New series called Condor. Really enjoyed, second series confirmed I believe. In summary it’s about a CIA analyst that gets caught up in some deep shizzle.

Aye, I watched the first two episodes, it was shite.

Third series of Preacher was a vast improvement on S2.
An absolute unit

Every time I read "second series confirmed" all I think is that the endeavour to build suspense in series one will ultimately be frustrating as little/anything will get resolved as there's a subsequent series coming after it.

e.g. my wife started watching that spy thing Homeland - the whole of the first series was all about the "will he, won't he commit a terrorist/suicide attack" - which was kind of nullified when you saw trailers for the second series with him in it.

Oh, and I thought Disenchantment was rubbish too - I actually prefer the "dip in/out" format of things like Futurama/Simpsons et al...

SPOILERS!!

Homeland should have been one season.

It’s cheesy, perhaps, but imagine that season ending with a *click* and then cut to black instead of a bang. 90% certain everything goes bang, but with a 10% wondering if it failed. Maybe even a cut to black just before his thumb hits (or doesn’t) the button?

Between Life and Death.

'Provocative documentary following the doctors who can now interrupt, and even reverse, the process of death. Filmed over six months in the country's leading brain injury unit (Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge), it follows the journey of a man who, by only moving his eyes, is eventually asked if he wants to live or die. Two other families are also plunged into the most ethically difficult decision in modern medicine.'

50 mins.

Of all the actors tainted by #MeToo, Kevin Spacey was the most difficult to hear.
