So harsh
I don't like the cognac version as much:

So harsh

Didn’t realise they were so quick. 0-100mph in 8 secsJobbo wrote: Tue Apr 02, 2024 9:55 am I have had this 992 open in a tab since I test drove one. I liked it at first but I'm starting to love it: https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/det ... ned-EQMXPE
If you decide to pull the bullet I might have an old pair of V10 turbots that might help getting rebuilt ones organized. I can't remember if the main cause of problems was the actuators playing up and that they weren't available on their own or if that was on something elseSundayjumper wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2024 10:07 am Another kinda want. LWB with the split rear seats is very cool but engine out for turbo replacement is a mission and the KESSY (keyless entry & start) problem points to water damage. I know mine’s been replaced already. Not insurmountable but likely a pain to track down.

Not on this particular one, but when we had the thread about it I tried running a quote on something similar and Admiral - who have covered me very reasonably on the 360 & 996 - declined to quote.Jobbo wrote: Sun Apr 28, 2024 10:29 pm Have you got an insurance quote? I think with the V8 diesel I’d be willing to run the reliability gauntlet.

That does look goodMikeHunt wrote: Mon Apr 29, 2024 10:20 am You know when you start thinking about a car and then it seems like you see 3 or 4 of them on every journey.
This one is a good spec and it has a 10 year warranty.

Are you talking about the pedals or the rain?mik wrote: Mon Apr 29, 2024 10:25 amThat does look goodMikeHunt wrote: Mon Apr 29, 2024 10:20 am You know when you start thinking about a car and then it seems like you see 3 or 4 of them on every journey.

although you need to drive one to see if you have the same issue I did - clik
I wasn’t clear - neither
Now that you mention it, I think both the pedals and gear lever on right hand drive cars have received some negative comments.mik wrote: Mon Apr 29, 2024 11:50 amI wasn’t clear - neither![]()
Lack of traction was frustrating, but it was the crap gear lever position that made it a firm non for me. (Or more specifically the arm rest that prevented you comfortably accessing the gear lever).
