While I’m not in the market for a Hurracan or similar, it’s good to know that you need to be just as careful and cynical when looking - I can imagine these dodgy dealers get away with it because buyers get carried away.Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2024 8:39 amI enquired about a couple of cars there a while back. Got a very unhelpful reply. IIRC I had a straightforward question and the complete non-answer was just "the car is here".
Googled the company a bit and found the owner had been banned from some horse riding association or other for assaulting a judge at an event. Nice.
They advertise a lot of cars, and seem to be moving into more exotica. It's a Keighley / Motorhub vibe.

LOL at the seats - you’re literally sitting in the back !! Which means I’d probably fit in OK
Looks very nice. Like.

Re: The ebay thread
Do you have to climb in the passenger side, since the steering column and wheel appear to completely block the driver's door access?
Re: The ebay thread
I don't think that would help, you'd then have at least the gear stick extra to contend with. Maybe it has a removable column to go with a removable wheel.
Re: The ebay thread
That thing is tragic as fuck.
Re: The ebay thread
A pity there aren't any engine bay etc pics
Re: The ebay thread
I mean, it's a pd130 engine in it, so it's not like there's a hopped up twin carb lump in there too look at.
Re: The ebay thread
Ye're missing the point; if the outside is like that, wtf is it like underneath? It wouldn't surprise me if it's transverse fwd

Please do let me know if you'd like to purchase this amazing bit of kit. Or if my ad's crap/I've missed something vital/you don't like the new wheel trims etc etc.

Re: The ebay thread
I’d not noticed how cheap these are now. I’ve had my Bentley near enough a year now and it’s not (financially) killed me. Is it time to sell up and go for another Sundayjumper Risky Bid™ ?
Old Model S, £14k.

(not necessarily this one, but it’s indicative)

I don't know if something like that would offer quite the same risk, so how about this https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-detail ... 24&fromsra ?

Re: The ebay thread
Dear fcuking lord no.
Although, interestingly, that's the dealer with a Huracan for sale that @Jobbo posted the other day, and I said I had very low confidence in them.
I imagine them to also deal in horses & dags.

Re: The ebay thread
I’d love to turn up to look at a shiny Hurracan and find a collapsed Maybach parked on straw
ETA: now that I’ve looked at it again, has it actually been used to keep chickens in?
