It is the only transportation purchase I've made. It has wheels, gears, hydraulic disc brakes and so on. Doesn't that qualify?

Didn't pay that. However, even at the full price you'd struggle to find anything else with those components on it for less than four thousand, so it isn't an unreasonable price. I got a very good deal on mine.
Also, bicycle prices have gone very silly in the last few years.

Not on the road yet! Although you did buy another S1 in 2023 that could be a contender for the main prize.
