Might take my car to Audi for an oil change each service and then get an indie to do a proper check over and any actual work because, frankly, I do not trust the workshop staff if they can't measure tread depth correctly![]()

Re: Your fleet running reports
Finally got around to sticking on the TMRs. Very happy with them, they look better IRL IMO. I forgot to weigh the fronts, but all up with tyres they're 2kg lighter per rear.

Re: Your fleet running reports
I like those alot
Personal opinion - I think they'd look better in a darker colour to really bring out the shape a bit more, rather than bright silver...but otherwise, yeah
Edit - is the front sitting a little higher that the rear or is that the camera angle/drive slope?

Each to their own, personally I hate darker wheels on a dark silver / grey car (and in most colour schemes actually). I think the lighter colour shows off the wheels better. It's a popular option so maybe I'm in a minority of one.

An Elise is one of the few cars that suit a black wheel.

Galaxie delivered to new owner. Very nice chap with a very nice man cave - about 3000sqft of it. There's an AMC Rambler on the right, a seventies Stingray behind it, a forties truck of some kind at the back, and several custom Harleys. Lounge area on the mezzanine. More cars outside. Me so jealous.

Looks like it’s gone to a decent place

No, dark wheel fuckers just ruin lovely wheels.duncs500 wrote: Wed Dec 20, 2023 8:10 pm Each to their own, personally I hate darker wheels on a dark silver / grey car (and in most colour schemes actually). Don’t let peer pressure point you to the path of darkness.
Dave!

The wheels and car look great. Dark wheels are for those too lazy to regularly clean them properly.

I bloody love dark wheels, and they look awesome when clean.. I'm actually trying to get hold of some gloss black Shelby Razor wheels for the Mustang right now.
I can assure you they will always be clean

I think they’d look pretty cool the the spokes in the same slightly darker silver as the bodywork.
I like them but the photo and the colour loses some detail when looking on a phone. Zoomed in so you can see the shape better and they look great, and I’m sure they look even better in real life where you can see them properly in 3d

Looks good. How dare you pick a colour others don’t agree with
How about not having a sig at all?

Looks great Duncs
I'm not much of a Lotus buff but they look exactly the same as the 240R wheels.

I think they’d look good with dark grey or black spokes but keeping a silver or polished rim. I’m sure Lotus sold some Elise variants with similar wheels in that finish. I’m not a fan of black alloys generally but with a bright rim - like 80s 911 Fuchs - they can look great.
