It’s in £ for me, you’re probably getting redirected to the US website?

That takes me to what appears to be the UK site but the configurator only comes up with USD prices. Since I'm in the UK there's no reason I'd be redirected to the US site and I clicked on the en-gb link anyway.

[Edit] Ah - there is a separate option to select which country you are in somewhere in one of the website menus. It's not a great website but if you're clicking on the UK link, to then assume I'm in the US by default is stupid.

I tried speccing the mid trim level but the options (like metallic paint) are cheaper on the top model and since I would want a couple at least of the packages, it works out the best value. £62k to my spec. Not too bad at all I'd say.

Yes my understanding of it is the production line is only producing the Extreme model to streamline things at the moment. Due to this they have reduced the prices on the top trim and all the options a fair bit so people who ordered the other trims can upgrade for a reasonable price and get their car quicker.

The configurator was absolutely rubbish on a mobile until I changed it to desktop mode on Chrome.

I'd definitely look at changing our Kona for one when it goes back in Feb 25. I didn't feel that I needed to many options. Just the winter pack to add heated seats, which for an EV seems like it really should be standard anyway.

My mum liked the Fisker a lot and ordered one, then went a bit further and chose her final spec ready to be sent off to the factory, although the car won't arrive until early Spring. Extreme in black, with black carbon aero wheels and blue interior.
Apparently the black is just a cheap feeling pleather which lets the interior down, the all white alcantara option is too impractical which leaves the blue - I only saw the blue in the dimly lit carpark where it basically appeared black, however it is quite blue from the photos that I'm looking at now Image
I like it in a 90's kind of way.
Hopefully Fisker doesn't go tits up at least until the 6 year warranty is up!

This looks quite interesting and could be a big step up for EV range and charging times.

As an aside I really like his channel, his videos are good, informative and don't jump on the hype.

There's a Fisker Dealership opening in Newport Pagnell apparently - about half a mile from the Tickford Street Aston Martin Place.

Some relatively decent deals through work <300pm net for an MG or Nissan ev fully maintained, insurance etc. Even a Merc EQB works out circa 400pm.

Taking run costs, fuel (£160~pm ) & depreciation of current motor into account it can't be far off working out favourable.

Porsche are giving dealer contributions on Taycans and you can now buy (well, rent) an Audi e-tron GT for 1200pcm, plus there are over 500 Taycans on Autotrader.. has the bubble burst?

Annual milage - 5000 miles?

Top stuff for a big GT, that.

It's not isolated to EV's as you can get hefty discounts and subsidised finance which has been bare territory since COVID.

I've been looking at cars for my son who is 17 next month and contemplating new with a discount and 0% finance over used.

Also seen M2's with 10%+ discounts.

I've seen a couple of the car dealers with YouTube channels talking about big expensive cars not making the auction reserve, and cheap stuff going above CAP.

Perhaps not surprising two years into a cost of living crisis.

Fingers crossed 996 911 Porsches get back to their sensible numbers then.

Went to Westfield for dinner, thought I’d go past the Fisker section just to see if they had a black car. Didn’t disappoint.

Had the black carbon wheels too

The black paint is very black.

Looks like every other softroad qashqai/RAV4/etc in black. The rear window line is the most interesting visual aspect of the design and that is completely lost.

No, but they’ve stopped making them now and there are reports of them struggling to get 60 miles range in the winter. Shame really, as I like them and suggested one as my daughter’s first car

I've read a bit, and 80 seems to be the low point - must have pushed every button to get as low as 60!

They're very cheap already (£15k @ 2 years old). They seem like a good choice as a school run/shopping car as long as you've got another car if you do need the distance.
