This sort of thing always baffles me; from the number of videos about it must happen quite often but I've never seen anything like it irl, even when people do seem to panic and steer sharply.
I've seen it happen once. Coming up to some slow/stationary traffic on a dual carriageway the car behind me - a safe distance behind me fortunately - braked hard and then span, landing neatly on the hard shoulder facing the opposite direction. That garage door is really good. I particularly dislike the look of roller shutter doors; they're always set inside the opening so look too recessed, and they don't have any features, even a handle, to break up the large expanse of nothing.
