Is the catch. It could easily be a totally borked engine. But for £400 it's super-tempting.

I reckon you could, just. The bed of the trailer is 4.8m. The car is exactly 2.5m. So there's 10cm of overhang, the tyres would just about still be on the trailer.

I'm going to have to try it next time Gavster comes over.

Having driven mine for a total of two days, I can confirm that it's absolutely hilarious driving one around busy London roads. I'm finding gaps in the traffic where I would never have seen them before, and parking has become a doddle. It feels like being a little kid who is running around the ankles of slow moving adults.

Careful you don't say on PH you like it and incur the wrath of some bloke who found the gearchange a bit slow 15 years ago so has to tell everyone how wrong they are to like it.

I'm finding gaps in the traffic where I would never have seen them before, and parking has become a doddle. It feels like being a little kid who is running around the ankles of slow moving adults.

What was it like on the motorway? In normal traffic out of town do you have to clog it everywhere just to keep up?

Not sure how the dimensions compare but my mate had a Cinq Sporting in London in the late 90s and I concur with your findings. Dead end roads with bollards blocking the end? Just fold the windows in

What was it like on the motorway? In normal traffic out of town do you have to clog it everywhere just to keep up?

Like trying to help a drunk student walk home It was a bit windy which made the car really choppy and it’s obviously a bit skittish at high speed anyway. Performance was fine because mine’s the top end one so I could get up to 80 on the motorway and had enough power to not hold people up.

Exactly! There was a gap between a van that was loading and the traffic queue which I could squeeze through to get onto the bus lane, but no-one else could. Had a good lol watching them stuck there.

If only there were step counters then we could have discovered just how much farther it was back from the pub than going. It sounds like a newer way to relive driving a T2.
Ah, I thought yours was fewer horsepowers.
Narrow cars in traffic (and that's coming from a wideboi A2, 1,673 mm (65.9 in) v 1,510 mm (59.4 in)).

I do rather like the idea of one of those now, but they seem to be a lot more expensive than the ForTwo. Coupes are more rarer / more expensive than the convertibles.
