Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Link doesn’t work but I assume you’re pointing out it’s SORN and has no record of ever having an MOT.
Recently imported ? Do you need an MOT to register it ?

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
It has an expired MOT when I look it up, although it expired over 3 years ago. It was also on 132k miles before that then went to 0. Probably just an ordinary 911 which then had a RSR conversion at that time I presume.
How about not having a sig at all?

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
I was getting my gov websites mixed up. MOT expired and no longer needs one. Definitely shows as SORN though.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Beast apparently spotted NOT BY ME.
It appears to have been REPAINTED with a different colour scheme for reasons currently UNKNOWN.
Which is the perogative of the new owner I assume and not really ANY OF MY BUSINESS.

Would love to see the front now - wonder if it still has all the headlights?
Re: Teh Spotted Thread

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
I'm disappointed they changed the colour. The brown was perfectly, superbly seventies.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Grille looks good. Headlight treatment does work - looking back, the old top row were too widely spaced and it only looked good because it was so silly. So I can't say I'd complain. Would probably want to make it drive a bit better rather than change the looks, if I'd bought it. I hope the owner gives Johnny another go in it to tell us how different it is.

Yes, hopefully the new owner will be able to make it run and drive properly too.
I approve of the changes to the appearance although obviously there are many many things I would still want to change! Wonder if the two tone scheme makes it look less like it’s bending in the middle?

Looks like my neighbour over the road is selling his 2004 X5. He’s out there at the moment with two guys who are checking it it, they look EXACTLY like the kind of people that want a cheap old BMW
I can feel his pain from here.

So are these MG ZS cars incredibly good... or are they literally giving them away? Seems to be every fourth or fifth car is one of these round this way.
Cheers,
Mike.

Comparable cost to dusters, which means massively cheaper than any other suvAscender wrote: Tue Nov 14, 2023 11:46 am So are these MG ZS cars incredibly good... or are they literally giving them away? Seems to be every fourth or fifth car is one of these round this way.

I think they have a better warranty too. The ideal car for people who don’t care about cars and just want to get from A to B really.

Thirty grand or so for a reasonably put together EV with decent town range and spacious enough interior in SUV format.Ascender wrote: Tue Nov 14, 2023 11:46 am So are these MG ZS cars incredibly good... or are they literally giving them away? As domestic appliances go, I can see why they're popular.

I think I saw a lotus electre the other day (it was coming towards me, in black with the prominent yellow badge) It was horrible.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
You can buy a delivery mileage pre reg petrol one for just over £15k, don’t think I’d bother with the EV version as the price difference would take forever to reclaim.Beany wrote: Tue Nov 14, 2023 1:06 pmThirty grand or so for a reasonably put together EV with decent town range and spacious enough interior in SUV format.Ascender wrote: Tue Nov 14, 2023 11:46 am So are these MG ZS cars incredibly good... or are they literally giving them away?
