What about trimming the hedge around your Moat?mik wrote: Mon Aug 13, 2018 2:19 pm To bring this to a close - i now have power in my loft.
One camera - furthest from out router - was a bit marginal for wireless connection, so i plugged an ethernet cable into it and hooked it up via a homeplug. Plugged into my new mains socket. In the loft.
I have no other current ladder-related plans.

I took the Mrs up the Blackpool Tower today.
The worst part was all of it. The lift going is horrible. The glass floor and plate glass windows is horrible. Climbing up the several flights of stairs up to the higher levels are horrible. The stairs back down to the lift is horrible. The lift back down is horrible. I don’t like heights.

Pervert.
The explanation for almost all of those is that it's in Blackpool. The worst part was all of it. The lift going is horrible. The glass floor and plate glass windows is horrible. I've never been there, and as such am the best placed to opine on the matter.

Why do you think they won't let me back over the border?NotoriousREV wrote: Mon Aug 13, 2018 5:12 pm But you’re Scottish? I though all Scottish people were forced by law to go on holiday to Blackpool?
I fought the law, and the law won.
Re: Ladders
Aren't the Scottish too poor / drunk / on smack to be able to afford holidays?
Re: Ladders
Still a different country isn't it, which must involve some form of travel expense. I cry foul.

Oh for reals?
I guess that makes sense, although I have to ask why they won't take the fuckers back to the country they love so much after they get to England and it's all they can talk about

Hey I never really liked it there that much
Back at the end of August for a wedding, then October for a birthday, and then that'll do for quite some time.

Re: Ladders
Tip for this is to shove a broom handle/chisel into the hole in the side of the ladder and hang the extension off it, works for buckets too if you’re ever up one with cementmik wrote: Sat Aug 04, 2018 10:04 am Naturally my cordless drill picked last night to die, so i had to use the big heavy mains job. And of course the cable on that isnt 8m long, so I had to plug it into a short extension and hold up the weight of the drill and that extension.![]()
