Confusingly, Harry reckons it was a rival to the Ferrari Boxster. #nitpickingwonker
Jon Honeyball I suspect you're talking about.V8Granite wrote: Mon Sep 04, 2023 7:18 am What was the guys name on here who used to own one ? It had the 50mm carbs aswell from memory.
There was a video of his on an airfield driving away from camera which is one of the nicest exhaust sounds I’ve ever heard, stunning car.
Dave!
I am sure I ripped that cassette to MP3 years ago - I definitely did with the first one. Not sure where it is now; probably on an old USB drive which will be hard to find. I bet there's a decent quality copy available online somewhere. Not intending to rip it again - I'd probably have to replace the belt in my cassette deck for a start.mik wrote: Mon Sep 04, 2023 7:34 am @V8Granite It was the aural highlight for a rather younger mik on the Fast Lane cassette too.

It's certainly up there, but I think we'd need a vote to substantiate that claim
Also - Harry confirms that this SM is on the special Magnesium wheels.Jobbo wrote: Wed Sep 06, 2023 4:45 pm I'm only now getting round to watching the Vantage video. In addition to the Ferraru Boxster (helpfully confirmed by the captions) Harry refers to the De Dinion suspension. We shouldn't make fun; it's quite an endearing trait.

Ha yes I noticed that. I believe he'd accidentally done that in one of his prior videos too. I presume all the audio of the Testarossa had been moved up half an octave as wellZonda_ wrote: Sun Sep 17, 2023 5:38 pm What was up with Harry’s voice in the 2nd half of the Testarossa video? Sounded like he was on helium!
Yes it was, lovely thing to be in.Explosive Newt wrote: Mon Sep 18, 2023 6:22 pmWas the car The Green Monster? At the point linked below - with the whine - it sounds not dissimilar to a 'charged Merlin/Griffon
