Best place for drill bits?

Post by mik »

Possibly FTAO @jamcg.

I have a few drill bit sets, but today completely wore out 2x 10mm masonry bits. I don’t need another drill set - the other sizes are good - I need 2 drills to make the existing sets whole again.

Individual drills in places like B&Q are £stoopid.

So what website for £sensible drill bits?

We get most of ours from a local hardware supplier but they’re trade accounts only- to be honest Screwfix/Toolstation tend to be pretty cheap and have the advantage of just walking in and picking stuff up. I’ve ordered some bits and bobs from https://ffx.co.uk/ before and they’ve delivered quite quickly annd seem pretty cheap. Failing that Amazon and eBay are worth a look too, as many places use them as a sales platform

I satisfied my ladder fetish buying some Zarges from FFX, the prices were great.

I’ve also used FFX quite a lot, via eBay, where they often have discount promos. Always had great service from them.

I ended up using https://ruwag.co.uk/ as their website was logically structured. I looked at FFX (on the phone) and the drills section was pretty baffling. :?

Good to have a link for next time I need shizzle though - cheers.
