I've just spent a lovely lunch hour removing the old number plates, scraping off five layers previous sticky pads, and fitting nice clean new plates.
Slightly smaller than legal on the front. I always do this.

AC gunk didn't work
It seemed to after putting in the stop leak goo, held pressure Wed. evening until rain stopped play, but it's gone this morning when I looked at adding gas. Bah, but worth a try.
