The cyclist went round a parked car and stopped in time for a pedestrian to cross.

The car driver stopped on zig zags to drop someone off.

One of those is prohibited and can get 3 points on your licence.

Driving round a vehicle which is stopped waiting for a pedestrian is overtaking. The car might not have stopped for that purpose originally but he was certainly stopped for that purpose when the cyclist overtook him.

Just because the driver may have committed an offence does not mean the cyclist didn’t also commit an offence. As has been said a number of times, everyone in the video needs to wake up.

You'll have to explain how that is distinct from what is visible in the video. The cyclist caught up with the car, which was waiting, and the only reason he didn't completely pass the car (going alongside still being 'passing') was because he had to stop for the person on the crossing which the car was waiting for.

Can’t really tell if the van driver was indicating but he was in the left turn only lane anyway so fucking stupid on the cyclist’s part to try and undertake him on the corner.

I don’t indicate on left/right turn only roads as it seems stupid. Where else are you going to turn?

My driving instructor told me not to indicate in 'fixed path' lanes, but must admit, I've never looked further into it as it does make sense.

I think one thing which is super dodgy in London now is all the roads which are one way in Covent Garden/Camden allow cyclists to travel both ways. Car drivers just don’t expect that and even as a pedestrian it’s weird. Seen many near misses as a result of it.

But historically it advised you to indicate to signal your intentions to other road users. That includes pedestrians who may not be aware that you are in a lane marked to turn left so there may well be a reason to signal.

Still the idiot cyclist's fault, riding up the inside of a van in its blind spot. FFS.
