Went yesterday for a look round a few garages.
BMW x1 - Not high enough (driving position)
BMW 2-series Active Tourer - Not high enough
Mercedes B Class - Not high enough
Volvo V60 - Not high enoough
Skoda Yeti - too boxy
Mini Countryman - Felt too small inside.
Nissan Juke - Doesnt like the look of the headlights on the bonnet.
Nissan Quashqai - Quite liked that. However the newest model shape are (just) out of budget and he wont spend more than £10k Auto's are rare.
Honda CR-V - Liked that also but thought it was a bit big - The one we saw was also a manual.
VW Tiguan. Liked the one we saw but was up at £15k. I have however found a DSG car in budget with decent spec and milage but its in newcastle which is too far away. Reminded him i went to London for a car and have bought a car from Newcastle also.
He "wants a car before the taxi goes but also wants to wait till the sale goes through" Not sure how both of those can be satisfied.
