Maybe it’s not a fair comparison then. I mentioned the Juke as it was on the same page, assumed it was a similar size.

No biggie, I was interested to compare sizes with the Juke based on the Micra and the Yeti & Gash on something the next size up. With a budget of £xxxx all three could be on the radar (well, ykwim...).

My dad's got a 2021 (or maybe even a 2022) Qashqai with the newer 1.3L petrol turbo automatic. It is entirely harmless to drive, isn't remotely fun as a driver's car, but it is fully loaded with every gizmo and gadget, comfortable, and the engine is a decent improvement on the old 1.2 turbot.

My dad has the same age Kadjar 1.3t but Manuel, nice car to drive, same as a Qashqai underneath.

Quite a decent looking thing in Dynamique S spec in deep metallic red as well.

Quite a bit bigger than a Juke or Yeti, especially boot wise.

The existing ecu might break, you’re just doing “preventative maintenance”

True. The existing throttle might break too, better replace it with four separate ones so I’ll at least be able to drive home if one goes wrong

See, you're thinking in terms of resilience. That is good. Maybe it also need some more horses in case some escape? Don't want to be left stranded.

And, what happens if one wheel is slipping, thus providing no forward momentum. Maybe a diff will help?

This is an air-cooled diesel!
There’s something unusual about the gearbox as well, but I can’t remember what it is.
