Wouldn’t it be great if car sellers took cars out to photograph them instead of using a white background? That Porsche looks so good out in the wild

I like that idea, but then as a manager you’ve got to trust the salesman making those decisions, or do it yourself, or hire a pro photographer.
I think that green one was a sparky or plumber using it as a ULEZ compliant van judging by the tools in the back! I might do the same with my 1275GT for the summer if I get around to replacing the clutch master cylinder.

Oh wow - that green one! Massive want.

Only problem is the 4.5l in the originals was somewhat lethargic. The S2 is probably the sweet spot of original body but 4.7l engine.

I’m still thinking one of these may be my first ‘classic’. ULEZ exempt up to 1983 now so more and more will becoming eligible.

Spotted - a black BMW M550i on the same wheels as @MikeHunt’s car. 4-character registration. Wasn’t you was it Mike? At the Nevill Arms.

I followed this thing today, at first I thought it’s just another Chinese covid era pick up (remember when no one could buy a new van/pick up and suddenly there was a flood of crap Chinese stuff which is already rusting?)
Then I noticed it had an EV badge on the back!

I thought the back was horrible but the front is even worse.
It’s a Maxus T90EV - sounds like a condom the terminator would don.
£50,000 apparently! For that POS!
How about not having a sig at all?

   Just looking it up - it’s £50,000 + VAT

The best bit is you can just see where they’ve stuck the battery pack underneath then just bolted the body on frame chassis on it

The Dutch are just better at picking nice specs for Porsches.

Lots of Targas, dark green, silver wheels, tobacco interior.
GT3 RS in purple with silver Porsche script down the side.
A red GTS (I think) with a go faster stripe down the middle.
A stunning orange 997 GT3 with a strange stepped rear wing, canards and filthy dirty.

Dave!

Boring 911 spot this morning, an early big standard non s 2nd 996. Obviously not worth mentioning in itself other than I was struck by just how small it looked

It wasn’t your M550i I spotted at the Nevill Arms on Sunday afternoon was it?

180k and not moved much...hmm, that'll hurt the value to be sure. I'll offer £10k.

A rather lovely Alfa GTV6.. we were amazed by how tiny they are - alongside they looked more Mk1 MX5 sized rather than the "large coupe" size we were expecting.

Terrible photo...

What are you in? Either the Alfa is very low, or you're in a tall vehicle (probably both).
