 You strapping Scottish lads just don't know your own strength. I think that's the main issue here.

God damn you mik!! Really not appreciating being affected with this curse...

I didn’t even touch this one - think the frost destroyed it.

One of life's little annoyances. Like you, I'd had enough and went full German Industrial: https://www.schlauch-profi.de/profi-rei ... -1026?c=25

I return with some positive news - my last nozzley purchase : a Gardena 18305 Premium nozzle (avec adjustable flow rate and spray pattern) lasted a full 13months  , but has now started leaking (maybe weeping?) gently from somewhere inside the unit. As we have ducks, the hose gets used daily, 365 days per year, so it's done OK. Have just ordered another for when it fails fully. Long Live The King.

We have had a Karcher premium spray lance (this one) since last August: https://www.kaercher.com/uk/home-garden ... 51370.html

It's good for doing the hanging baskets and in this spray configuration is good for getting bird poo off the car and cleaning off the pool filter without getting the pressure washer out:

It hasn't broken either, despite being used fairly regularly and chucked on the concrete path. I noticed there was a weep of water from the On/Off flow control when I used it at the weekend, but only when it was on; it sealed fine when off. Will update when it dies. Might be worth me buying another since they're currently discounted; I paid £26 last year. Inflation, pah!
