My favourite thing about this is that the fact that Musk managed to set up a ddos attack on his own website through poor decision making is barely worth mentioning

An absolute unit
Re: Twitter
I wonder what % of their total monthly visits come from non-registered users?
Re: Twitter
Looks like it might be about 10%
https://backlinko.com/twitter-users
206m DAUs of which 187m are 'monetizable' (i.e. they're known, have logged in etc)
So Musk appears to have come up with a cunning way of reducing Twitter's reach by about 10% over night

Re: Twitter
I only ever read anything if someone links it on a group or forum.
Now instead of going to the app it takes me to the web version and wants me to log in every time. Instead of having the occasional little browse I now just click back and carry on elsewhere.

+1. I might have joined to comment on something but now I can't read anything I've no comment to make so there's no chance.

Keeping up the tradition of twitter users with Ukraine flag emojis having the worst possible takes.

I know there's no context but I think it's tongue in cheek...
Re: Twitter
Did they actually take legal action?
Or was it only threatened/possible they could?

Re: Twitter
Speaking of Twitter, I’m downloading Threads now. I think it could be a winner due to the fact it’s tied to Instagram, which makes it a shoe-in for many IG users who didn’t like Twitter.
Re: Twitter
I can’t even see it in the App Store. (Work iPhone)
