I thought that would just end with a picture of Trump as he is now. I've clearly become too jaded.

Re: Randomness
Blimey indeed.
Our house backs on to a rugby pitch and we have the posts at the bottom of our garden. Lightning struck those a few years ago and that made a hell of a bang. Luckily the only damage we had was the alarm control box went up in smoke.
Re: Randomness
Around 20yrs ago, the phone/telegraph pole at the bottom of our garden (not our current house) was struck. Thankfully we weren't in at the time - we came home through the front door to find the phone on the floor. What's going on? Then I noticed the front panel of the wall box that it had been plugged into was on the other side of the hall, looking a bit scorched. As was the casing that it was previously attached to.John wrote: Wed Jun 14, 2023 8:46 am

Scarey to think we could have been on the phone at the time.

I’m not up to date with modern cars. Is that how they come from the factory now?

Well yeah
I might be doing him a disservice but I do wonder whether he even had a test drive and just ordered the most outrageous looking 911 in the catalogue.
Re: Randomness
Yes a little bit of jumping the shark with this latest one I think. Too compromised to use on the road as well... The 991.1s are shrinking (ultra)violets in comparison. Probably peak GT3 RS I think:DeskJockey wrote: Wed Jun 14, 2023 10:04 pmQuite.integrale_evo wrote: Wed Jun 14, 2023 9:55 pm I’m not up to date with modern cars.
