Great film from Catchpole.
That was awesome. 8-)

Amazing car, and a brilliantly honest and open delivery by Henry. It looked ridiculous from the outside - cuts to Henry - yep - utterly ridiculous.

I’ve done an aerobatics experience, and 99% of the forces are either up or down - even fighter pilots wouldn’t get near these lateral g-levels.
He was VERY close to chunder at one point!!
Yeah, dry mouth, wide eyes, not saying big words. That was a man hoping to get to the pits and out of the car before ejecting his bacon butty.

It still looks absolutely potty in external footage, like a sped up roller skate.

+1 Excellent film, his understated delivery was perfect for it. "... . I'm going to have to think about this" said so much more than "Woo! Yeah! Bestest bestest bestest!" ever could. Its size and (possible) price seem almost as different to the norm as its performance. I hope Catchpole gets early access to future developments 8-)

Prices on the GR Yaris are nuts - £30k new (+cost of a pack) but even the cheapest is still £30k at 2 years with a chunk of miles on. Strange when so many have been (seemingly, if Twitter is to be believed) so 'meh' on them.

And £100k spent on that car :? wonder what the lifespan is on that engine.

I'm meh about the amount spent on it - these things cost - but am equally curious about its longevity, as much because it looks so usable it would be easy to put big miles on it.

MG seen to be doing a pretty decent job lately. MG4 has been well received, and this thing - allegedly very close to production form - looks interesting too.

Ditch the yoke and lower the seat.

Seats too high in an MG is an issue going back to just about every model of the last 30 years though.

Koenigsegg set a new 0-400-0 record (again).

Just so incredibly undramatic.

 The reactions.

Reminds me of the faces I saw on people that had p-rides in the 400+bhp TT Clio donkeys years ago. A mix of utter terror and huge relief that they were still alive

I know it's the point of the fancy gearbox, but it sounds like a Micra CVT with a blown exhaust.

It sounds good up to 60 mph and then just rubbish. It's just a never ending constant pitched groan like a massive rugby player taking a dump.

I haven't seen much of this guy's stuff - not entirely sold on his delivery, but can't argue with his sentiment. Astonishing couple of laps to start the 2021 N24. The pass around 12min30 is fantastic. 8-)
