I don't like it.
Not a fan of those rear lights, don't like the silly 'border' around the grill and the pervasion of those capacitive buttons on the steering wheel is really annoying.
Mercedes had an obvious (if easy) route they could've taken here, to follow the design language of the new C and S classes and drop the E in the middle of them. Why they had to deviate from this I'll never understand.
As I've said elsewhere I really hope my next ride is an E53 estate - looks like it'll be an 'old' one at this rate.

Re: New E Class
They took the easier route of just taking the EQE and putting an actual grill in it

How about not having a sig at all?
Re: New E Class
I'm not massively impressed, though I did fear they'd go 4-cyl only this time. What's the E63 going to have - the old E53's hybrid drivetrain turned up a bit?
Re: New E Class
The suggestion from the vid is that it'd have the electric gubbins from the C63e and GT63Se mated to a 6 cylinder engine. That makes most sense at this point.Jobbo wrote: Tue May 02, 2023 12:32 pm I'm not massively impressed, though I did fear they'd go 4-cyl only this time. Whilst I was at the dealer this morning I thought I'd check out the current offerings and surprised that they had no C's or E's in the showroom at all. It was all A's, EQs and GLC/GLEs. Crazy.
