This is genuinely the first ev I’ve seen and thought ‘want’
Really? Unless you have a business to promote why? Also, did they mention how much its going to cost?
I have a strange love of old vans………… also didn’t say I’d want to pay for it 😂

I can imagine one of these parked up at Goodwood, selling shitty coffee out the side for £6.50.
How about not having a sig at all?

They're bloody awful. Looks like they driven off the set of fireman Sam or Postman Pat 😂

I've watched this now. Something about the chap seems, I don't, insincere? This comment piqued my interest;

Back to the vehicle itself, aiui it the prototype used Leaf bits (and/or the e-NV200), so that would answer where the UK sourced bits come from.

I picked up on that comment. I mean, this is a promo vid for your product - even if you're thinking it, you don't need to say it do you? Just say you want as much of it to be made in Britain as possible and leave it at that. :roll:

I bet the employees aren't banned from going for a Chinese takeaway. I dare one to leave a prawn cracker in a box section.

Still, anyone mad enough to want to sell a life-size version of Postman Pat's van is probably going to be an old gammon. He's probably got quite a bit market of racists to appeal to.

ETA: fuck, I missed the opportunity to say, "Oh, Mick Newey's aged a bit".

Quite. The thing is, I don't mind the concept, and I'm sure there would be plently of non-gammons wanting one as well. Think of all the artisanal wankers that could curate their diabetes-inducing cupcakes or ice-cream from one of these.

But a comment like that from him perfectly demonstrates why, sometimes, it's best for these loons to employ a dedicated marketing/PR person. :lol:

To be fair, he said it needed to be sourced/built/engineered in the UK, he said nothing about it being owned and bankrolled by chinese interests ;)

Good point - if that comment were widely seen by the artisanal baking/barista types I think he'd alienate a large part of his audience.

The Ferrari vs Nissan Patrol drag race at 14m40s is bonkers. The turbo lag enormous then it headbutts the horizon, making the Ferrari look pedestrian as soon as it’s on boost :lol:

It doesn't give you much confidence in the product when the promo vid shows it trundling around at walking pace.... :?

(and his hand positioning on the wheel made my teeth itch - but that's mostly my problem).
