I planned to watch the C4 highlights last night, but it didn’t happen. Not sure I will bother. I did however see this on twitter.

Have just scan-watched the race. Glad they removed the 10s jack penalty (although the original 5s penalty seems rather silly to me) - front jack is good - it's the rear that touches.

That was an excellent race. Shame about the end, but I enjoyed that. Waiting to see how the penalties change things.

Bit of a shambles, nice for Piastri to get points at home though. RB ludicrously fast.

Those that lost out on the 2nd restart will feel hard done by.

Sainz made me think of Lemongrab in Adventure time.

Sainz, never the smartest driver and screwed over many people’s races so entirely deserved.

I lost so many fantasy points off that restart! :x

At least it was an interesting race I guess.

I enjoyed Max getting a taste of his own medicine. Not sure why he bothered risking staying on the outside when he had a 15 mph straight line DRS advantage over the Mercedes on the longest straight of the season.

Still not sure of the whole sprint race - 1/3 distance and it still all settled into a tyre management fest a lap after the early safety car. Maybe qualifying should be on mediums for all 3 sessions so they can at least get a few goes and force them to use hards for the race? If anything Sunday is far more predictable.

He's a fucking child - George has called it in his comments about how when they were 8 and racing against each other, the one on the inside gets the corner.... but Verstappen has doubled down and called George inexperienced

Perhaps he should have been looking in a mirror to see who the real dickhead is

If you go round the outside, you're taking a risk. You took the risk too early on and it didn't pay off. He could have probably easily have overtaken George later on in the sprint race, so no sympathy for Verstappen on this one.

This plus all his whining about his dislike for sprint races, he's not coming across very well this weekend

If anything max lacks experience of wheel to wheel racing. Remember he’s the reason the super license rules were changed to essentially force you to do a season in f3 or f2 first- he did neither and never learned the art form so many of todays drivers show

Unfortunately I don’t blame Max as such for his attitude- he is the product of having smoke blown up his arse from dickhead Jos and dickhead Horner. No wonder he’s becoming more of an arrogant twat lately

A level of petty snidiness seems to be ingrained in the Red Bull culture - when he passed back his engineer crowed over the radio “Lovely Job Max. Without contact as well. Nicely done.” All the incredulous jaw-drop staring at the damaged side-pod.

Yes he’s a product, but I can’t feel any pity for him. It takes a certain Trump-esque kind of arrogance to soak that all in and constantly behave as he does. He has zero endearing or admirable qualities for me.

They don't get grades anymore. They all did really well and should be proud of themselves. 😂

“He was understandably annoyed with that and voiced his opinion to George. It was probably good that he [George] left on his crash helmet.”

At this point max and Horner need summoning to the stewards and given some sort of fine or penalty for bringing the sport into disrepute. A name call could be dismissed as heat if the moment. Threats of violence need sniffing out immediately, especially with max’s history
