I'm a bit worried that the wheels we like may not be available currently - there are literally no Macans on the approved used site which have them fitted

Hard for Porsche to blame that on the lack of availability of microchips!

Massively this - the Q8 is a handsome looking thing.

I declare this choice to be correct. 8-)
Motion carried.

I'm glad we could bring this to a satisfactory conclusion.

In totally unrelated news, I had a play with the configurator for a 5-series Touring today and the 530d has disappeared completely. Still available to order as a 520d, 530e, 540i, 520i - just not the 6-cyl diesel. Wonder if that is linked to the police engine issues?

It does look good, but doesnt that car have speakers under it to make it sound better?

Kickballer neighbour had one in black on black with blacked out black bits. I did quite like the look of it but I’ll take the Cayenne every time on looks.

We were away for a few days and the hotel is usually a good place to do a bit of car spotting, but it was pretty lean pickings. There were quite a few Macans though which do look very good in black. I can't remember the last time I saw a Cayenne though - genuinely not seen one on the road in a year or so.
Cheers,

I thought I saw more Cayennes than Macans on my travels, but driving back a couple of junctions down the M5 from the Porsche dealer after ordering, we saw three Macans in quick succession. Really helped with the spec choices because they were all slightly different

Evo just did a review of the Macan T. I didn’t know the S was only £1k more..

The S with no options is £1k more…

The T comes with a decent spec as standard and other options are cheaper than on the S, so there’s a few grand difference when specced as I’d have a Macan.

I'm clearly way out of touch with Porsche SUV models... I saw what I thought was a Macan today but it turned out to be a Cayenne. Must pay more attention, although looking at the figures, maybe they're easy to confuse in passing.

2021 Porsche Macan v 2021 Porsche Cayenne
110.5 in. Wheelbase 114 in.
64 in. Height 66.8 in.
184.9 in. Length 193.7 in.
76.2 in. Width 86.4 in.
Cheers,

Spec locked in now. It gets sent to the factory next Monday then should start being built before the end of April. Might even have it by end of May. :D :D :D
