I am an absolute luddite when it comes to tech, how can I tell if the new car had carplay? It has a button in the menus but pressing it did heehaw.
It has the nav pro as far as I can tell. Is it as simple as using a cable to connect the phone in the socket in the centre cubby?

mk7 Golf right? You should have App-Connect on the screen. Just plug in your phone to the USB port using a lightning cable and it should do the rest.
