Sounds like one of those sorts of scams that they use to scope out houses to rob, like wot they do to pensioners but more up to date.

Eventually, after they called the police on me But the police can’t do anything.

I thought the same about it being a scam, I’ve had similar in the past, which is why I had zero patience for them.

Did they actually show you any evidence that the find my phone thing was showing your house as where the device was, or did they just have a printout or something?

We didn't get that far, because I don't have their phone, so anything they had was totally irrelevant.
