We saw a new 2 series today..granted it wasn’t an M2, but the styling looked really bland - I thought it might be one of those designs which looked better in the flesh, but I don’t think its a patch on the outgoing generation. A bit bias, but there you go. Maybe it’s a grower.

The hotel we were at is usually good for a bit of car spotting but it was slim pickings this time.
  • 612 Scaglietti in silver - fab. Was my daughter’s favourite
  • F12 in Rossa Corsa - fab. Was my daughter’s second favourite
  • Bentayga 1st Edition - mahoosive and no redeeming features
  • Bentayga Speed (I think) - somehow looked a good bit smaller and less stuffy, but not great
  • Rolls Royce Wraith - looked pretty damn cool in a dark red & black colour scheme. Real presence, most surprising as to just how great I thought it was
New Mustang - white with a black and red stripe, looked pretty damn ace
  • Land Rover Defender 110 75th Anniversary Edition - those mint green wheels still ain’t growing on me, but at least it wasn’t an X5
Apart from that, the car park was a sea of X5s and whatever the electric ones are - I’ve lost track now, but quite a few of those with the hideous/hilarious plastic front grilles. Lots of Caymans, every single one in black and all with different alloys, which, having seen the configurator now, is no surprise.
Cheers,

Mike.

Are there any pics anywhere of the rest of the car? Looks like there’s some other questionable additions lurking.

Those trims look like they’ve probably halved the exhaust flow too :?

They are horrid. Scarily some people are complimenting him on them. It's also got 21st Century Outlaw on his car... the guy is clearly a buffoon.

1964 Pontiac Grand Prix in a multi-storey car park in Camberley. Congrats on getting in there ! I wouldn’t fancy manoeuvring the Galaxie around there.

Spotted near Cheltenham today: a Citroen Ami. Glad I pulled out in front of it because IIRC they have a top speed of about 30mph.

I expect I’ll see it again because the range of 20 miles or so means it must be local.

I thought you meant one of these at first, until you mentioned the range.

A good advert that quadricycles have much less stringent requirements than regular cars and are thus much more shit.

I really did. My first car was a 2CV. I spent a lot of time in that Citroen world.

(and I've never owned another French car since)

My stepfather had an Ami but that was before my mother met him. He was driving a GSA when he met her, and took her on a date test driving a CX 😄

They do have very good headlights, I can at least confirm.
