Re: Today’s want
Email just received:
“Hi sons, I have just put a deposit on the Maserati subject to test drive.”
He’s viewed and it’s mint. Reserved while it’s being prepped at which point he’ll have a proper test drive.

Re: Today’s want
I won't call it a want as such, but the Merc R Class is something I'd never noticed before. Seems to be halfway between an estate & a full size 4x4. Are they any good ? A cheap practical barge to replace the Vito ?

Re: Today’s want
Speaking of unnoticed Mercedes, the X class was a new one to me, only made for three years 2017-20 and was the most expensive pickup on the market. Very popular with middle eastern owners who liked to mod them.

Re: Today’s want
Universally mocked over here for being a rebadged overpriced Navara.
How about not having a sig at all?

My dad had one as a hire car. Large, six comfortable seats and e-class experience. That's about it.Sundayjumper wrote: Sat Mar 04, 2023 3:38 pm I won't call it a want as such, but the Merc R Class is something I'd never noticed before. Re: Today’s want
Need ? Or "need" ?
We have a small dog so an estate is definitely justified. Something like a Cayenne for example.
I'm just spitballing really. I sold the Clubman and the Vito will hopefully go soon. I get itchy fingers when there's space on the drive and money in the bank.

I volunteer to help with the money, want my bank details to send it over?Sundayjumper wrote: Sat Mar 04, 2023 5:37 pmNeed ? Or "need" ?

I found this 981 Boxster a couple of weeks ago when looking for GTSs, inspired by @DaveE’s purchase:

Lovely high spec and white really seems to suit it. I have a bit of an irrational want for it. Usually that sort of want goes away fairly quickly but I still want it a couple of weeks on. I’d been contemplating a new/nearly new MX5 with the 184bhp engine and I know I’d thoroughly enjoy that, but the want isn’t strong in the same way. Anyone near Hornchurch to go and have a look for me…?

Re: Today’s want
Double white. Really not for me but this IS Jobbo here, and it would cancel out the double-black of the Macan I guess.
Re: Today’s want
It is definitely a product of Essex, but since it’s not an XR3i cabrio, I think it works. Boxsters look a bit boring in a dark colour.
