@integrale_evo yesterday's Retropower episode might make you slightly misty eyed. There's a Lancia in it!

One of Jonny Smith's car cave episodes with Mike Brewer.

I've always liked Wheeler Dealers and thought it actually got better when Ant Anstead took over, which seems at odds with our cat being called Edd China, but the recent ones have been absolute terrible. Mike Brewer seems to be becoming even more of a parody of himself since it came back to the UK but I didn't mind this episode at all. Came across as a proper car person and it's a nice collection of cars, albeit only a small number of what he owns from what he was hinting...

Next video is a sit down interview with Brewer. Not sure when it's coming but Jonny normally releases videos on a Sunday and Thursday if there's two in a week.
I know 2 of the patsy buyers from Wheeler dealers past that they'd got in when they couldn't sell the cars legitimately. One walks his dog with Paul (and I've known him since we were 10) and when he came to quote to relay our driveway I learnt a hell of a lot about the show and how it worked, we must have chatted motors and about the show for an hour.

My mate bought a Wheeler Dealers car (the Mustang) and he's still in touch with Mike. Met up with him for lunch when he was in California on holiday and Mike was still based over there.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

I knew there was someone on here that actually bought a car from them. They do try to find legit buyers and I've seen them advertise the cars on FB but when they couldn't get buyers for one reason or another they had to stand up a patsy. As the show was filmed locally (Edd used to be based about 7/8 miles from me and Paul lives in the same village) they came from the local car crowd.

I mean.. speeds are ludicrous and the slow motion explanify made it more interesting, but I was most impressed by how the Chiron sounds! 🤤🤤🤤

I must admit that I always thought that Brewer was a bit of a throbber but I really enjoyed the three films and am happy to say that my mind has been changed.

Interesting little head-to-head. Bit too much fannying around for me, but there is some good footage/content (and driver skillz) in there. 8-)

We all know it's been focussed even more towards track, but the G-figures generated by the GT3RS are just ridiculous.

I watched the GT4RS v GT3RS video the other day. Having assumed that the Cayman was a bit of a giant-killer, I was surprised at how much more I wanted the 992.

Schmee warning. But, genuinly very interesting bit on some ex Sultan of Brunai specials; a 456 Convertible and a Ferrari FX.

Be interesting to see what that McMurthy thing could do up there with it's big fat fans to help through the slower corners....

The way he's holding the wheel gives me hives. Tho I guess at 300 mph you may as well not be holding it at all :D
You settle up, I'll go get the Jag.

David Gould was my next door neighbour when I lived in Newbury. He kept one of the hill climb cars in his garage in the back garden - very nice man who helped me out a couple of times with work on the Mondeo.

They also did some crazy thing with a puma back then too. There's a vid kicking around of it.
