Re: Twitter
Mastadon was allegedly banned because they advertised that you can follow ElonsJet in real time over on there.
Also this....
Was followed by this, with a wonderful correction.
Oh, and yeah, he's been banning journos alright. Aaron Rupar is a pretty major source of right-critical video content pointing out hypocrisy, for example.
So yeah, totally not having a toddler level tantrum, definitely a business genius.

Re: Twitter
Musk ragequitting from a Space being used by journos to discuss the 'doxxing' (the publishing of public information)
Spaces now appear (and I use that term specificaly - I don't use spaces and can't check because suspended
) to be non functional...
Musk claims that just by coincidence, straight after that call, they're fixing a legacy bug in Spaces

Re: Twitter
ElonJet isn't doxxing though?
It's posting the locations of private jets? (not people)
Yes, the two will coincide when these people are aboard their jets, but is Elon deliberately muddying the waters by equating the location of his jet, with his own personal location?
He's such a man-baby though - it's tragic

Re: Twitter
Exactly, it's explicitly not doxxing. he was claiming on that spaces call that reporting the location of his plane was effectively the same as posting the location of his home, which is clearly bollocks and he didn't have an answer when he was called out on it.
He's proper spitting his dummy out. Too long surrounded by lickspittles and enablers, and now he's getting pushback, he's really not happy. And it's hilarious.

Re: Twitter
Is it ? Location of both home & plane are publicly available, and neither are an exact confirmation of his personal whereabouts at any time.Beany wrote: Fri Dec 16, 2022 12:02 pm he was claiming on that spaces call that reporting the location of his plane was effectively the same as posting the location of his home, which is clearly bollocks and he didn't have an answer when he was called out on it.
Sure it's probably bad form to post someone's home address but it's not like it's a massive secret. Star Maps have been around since the seventies for example.
Re: Twitter
He put up a poll asking when he should unsuspend the accounts he suspended for (absolutely not) doxxing him.
It didn't go how he planned.
So I guess he assumed that the other 'later' options would combine into a win for him.
He's currently still losing, just by more (can't get a screengrab of the results, because suspended, but ATM it's about 55 now, 45 later).
I expect another poll to be released at 2am tonight with different options as he cries into his caffeine free diet coke because nobody likes him other than bots.

Re: Twitter
It really is just him trying to moderate the entire internet now. Can’t be long before he goes fully insane, can’t be doing his health any good.
How about not having a sig at all?

Re: Twitter
What kicked this off? Was it the account which showed his private jet had been to Epstein's island multiple times or did something else trigger him?
Cheers,

Re: Twitter
I gather that some nut job jumped on the bonnet of his car the other day at an airport. I don't know the whole story and why he's explicitly linked it to the guy of Twitter though.Ascender wrote: Fri Dec 16, 2022 2:37 pm What kicked this off? Re: Twitter
The bonnet of a car carrying his kid, not him. I'd probably be a bit antsy after that tbf.
You settle up, I'll go get the Jag.

Re: Twitter
yep, not sure how it links back to a Twitter account that reposts where his jet is though - especially as per my demo earlier, that can be legally found out in 20 seconds - even by a computer illiterate idiot like me.tim wrote: Fri Dec 16, 2022 2:45 pm The bonnet of a car carrying his kid, not him. Did the guy shout "I saw the location on the ElonJet account and that's why I jumped on the bonnet" before he ran back to his car?
And did that actually happen?, or did some test paparazzi just stand in front of the car and take photos - not that Elon lies about stuff ever.
Re: Twitter
Ha, fuck me. I'd wonder how I missed that, but I think I was following the progression on a discord, saw it there, forgot I'd seen it here already and got overexcited at the schadenfreudeRich B wrote: Fri Dec 16, 2022 2:33 pm

Re: Twitter
I'm unsure if that has any specific use, other than influencing other shareholders; musk and I think Larry Ellison still have the majority of stocks overall? Genuinely don't follow stonks that much so feel free to patronise me with potential relevance
Anyway, in the next episode of "Musk cries into his diet soda while impotently masturbating, without ever reaching completion....."

Re: Twitter
Also the car is a pretty new Hyundia Kona IIRC, so it's not impossible this is one of Musk/Teslas own benchmark fleet - it's not like he's lied before for internet clout.
Like about the literal actual death of his own child.
So he definitely wouldn't be bullshitting about something as inconsequential about the safety of one of his own kids that.....
......hasn't been reported to the LAPD yet.
