Re: Twitter
He specifically wanted to use Apple Store as it's another layer of human verification, so I don't think they'll be taking payments off their website anytime soon.
You settle up, I'll go get the Jag.

If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

Re: Twitter
Where has he sprung from? I see him all over the social media but have no idea why or how he's become rich/important?
Re: Twitter
He started off as a middling MMA fighter and moved into being a mens rights influencer. Allegedly moved to Romania because he was about to be prosecuted here for domestic abuse and sexual assault, he's added people trafficking to his list since.
He's a piece of shit and I personally think that he's not worth anywhere near as much money as he makes out. All the cars and that are a front.
He's one of those people that shitty people like to defend as "I don't agree with everything he says but he makes some good points".

Re: Twitter
So he's an incel encourager?
Re: Twitter
Yeah that and he used tiktok to get a huge fanbase of young men and boys to preach his misogynistic views. He apparently makes money from selling them self help courses along with his (alleged) people trafficking and being a pimp. He's a real charmer.

Re: Twitter
You can tell who gets their opinions on Andrew Tate from Guardian articles... TikTok has been occasionally flooded with him for the last year, he's incredibly popular and I've seen a lot of his content.
He come out with some nonsense, as proven from the "Books are a waste of time" above and his misogynistic comments - for instance his stance that a man takes ownership for his wife when she is 'given away' to him.
On the other hand, he also comes out with a lot about personal responsibility which I would argue is an antidote to incels, rather than encouraging them. E.g. his message that you need to go to the gym, work hard and build a better life for yourself. That's not encouraging incels, it's telling them to stop being incels.

I don't read the guardian

In all seriousness, back when the incels were allowed on reddit a lot of the posts were about self improvement. It's all built on violent misogyny though.

I don’t believe in dividing people into ‘good’ and ‘bad’ silos, it’s far better to acknowledge the complexity of human existence. Michael Jackson might be an abhorrent child abuser but his music still slaps.
Re: Twitter
My usual counter to that is that there are thousands of great musicians who aren’t child molesters, you wouldn’t miss Michael Jackson.
Likewise there are thousands of motivational influencers. Find one who isn’t also a rapist.
People are complicated but if their actions repeatedly tell you that they aren’t worth your time, believe them.

This. There’s thousands of these types on Instagram promoting a lifestyle that none of them really live but he’s the most visible/outspoken.ZedLeg wrote: Thu Dec 15, 2022 11:14 am He's a piece of shit and I personally think that he's not worth anywhere near as much money as he makes out. Apparently his get rich quick Hustler University (lol) programme is mainly teaching other people how to sell his Hustler University programme. One big pyramid scheme.

Re: Twitter
So, after banning the accounts of loads of US journalists who were investigating him, plus the account of the person following his jet (which is public info don't forget, whilst saying he's pursuing legal action and not suspending accounts following Bezo's jet) there's also this:
Musk is nothing but a deranged angry man-child.

I'd argue that it's getting incels to become physically stronger so they're better equipped to go on a murderous rampage.Gavster wrote: Thu Dec 15, 2022 12:16 pm You can tell who gets their opinions on Andrew Tate from Guardian articles... He ran a poll, didn't like the answer so ran it again! Unfortunately it's now even further from what he wanted!
