Wow! I was wondering when they’d share that. Like one of those tennis Hawkeye calls that clips the edge of the line but looks obviously out. Farewell Germany. Spain did themselves a massive favour by not equalising.
Left over crest; tightens.

It should be where the ball is in contact with the floor. Bit like off side should be the foot. Its really not hard.

Yeah but it's not, so it is what it is. I agree on the offside thing though - would remove all the nonsense that's been going on recently with someone's hair or fingernail making them offside. The foot's the bit that matters as it's enabling the movement.

By the same reckoning if that was a goal line it wouldnt be a goal

It was a nervy start - too pedestrian - they were similar in the 1st half against Wales and against the US but once they upped the urgency a bit and got the ball forward, they were much better.

Should be interesting

I think Mbappe will enjoy himself. I wish they'd stop fannying around with it at the back - it's like the two centrebacks think they're playing for Spain but forget they don't usually even get a club game, such is their ability.

I'm hoping for a high-scoring game. I don't think they'll be able to contain the French attach, but the French defence has also looked a bit ropey, so scoring more than them might be our best tactic, rather than trying to contain them. We certainly have the talent in midfield and up front to do so.

I imagine Southgate will think we're awesome defensively though and looked to play a negative game, trying to deal with their threat and just rely on a counter break.

Senegal looked quite dangerous in the first 30 mins, however they seemed to shrink as soon as England woke up and started putting goals away. The match felt like a necessary formality, rather than an edge-of-seat thriller.

Saturday night will be a good one to watch. There's something about the Southgate-era England team that's quite different to those that have gone before. They feel more capable of mature teamplay than any squad we've had in years.

Brazil are on fire and destroying Korea, they're an easy 4-0 up at half time and could have been 6. Wonder how many more goals to come...

Wow. Wife barely even bothered to watch her team's second half as the game was safe and over after the first 45 minutes.
