FTAO of Scots... Garage that specialises in diesel diagnostics

Post by Ascender »

My friend has a LWB van which has been throwing up engine management errors. Garage has tried a couple of things (thinking air flow sensor or wiring), but with no luck. Van is driving OK, but obviously needs looked-at. Unfortunately, it's one of those which could be anything at all - even just a corroded connection somewhere.

View so far is that diesels can be a nightmare to diagnose stuff like this so could take hours and isn't the sort of thing your average garage will touch.

Does anyone north of the border, central belt way, have anyone in mind who could maybe look at this sort of thing?
Cheers,

Mike.

The only one that springs to mind is https://www.wose.co.uk/diesel-repairs but I have no personal or even "my mate says they are awsome" experience of them.

There are Bosch Diesel Centres all over the UK.

We used one as recommended by a trusted mechanic for my wifes Santa Fe and they were a great no nonsense outfit.
