3.0 CSL
Re: 3.0 CSL
That's nice, but is it effectively a €750k M2?

Re: 3.0 CSL
Why is it "up 50bhp" - up from what?
Re: 3.0 CSL
From the 3.0CS which they forgot to launch?

Re: 3.0 CSL
The standard M3 is 510bhp isn't it? So, shoddy maths aside, I'm guessing what that guy means? Weird though.
I quite like it, but not sure about the rear roof/window spoiler thing.

Re: 3.0 CSL
Not correct at all!
"Bat’s back. BMW 3.0CSL - note no ‘M’ - 553bhp (up 50bhp)"
The "Bat"mobile had around 200bhp did it not?
So presumably he's saying that this one has 553bhp, 50bhp more than a G80 M3.

Reportedly three quarter a million euros?
That can't be right.

Re: 3.0 CSL
I’d rather just have a M3, mapped and spend the rest of it on other nice things rather than a pretty average looking car with a CFRP body which will still be overweight.
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: 3.0 CSL
It really is a slack handful of exposed rivets away from being a rocket bunny kit
Re: 3.0 CSL
I don’t think it’ll look epic like a Bugatti without paint either as BMW CFRP is most likely the stuff used in the i3/i8/ix which looks crap unpainted.

Those look like they're at least 21" with that profile going on. Hardly lightweight!jamcg wrote: Thu Nov 24, 2022 12:52 pm

Re: 3.0 CSL
They've basically designed a Mustang anyway. The Gt350 makes 525bhp and costs about $60k.

You crazy kids with your iPads and your jeans halfway down your backside... WTF is a Rocket Bunny?
I'm going to have to google it aren't I?

Well if they can get 10 folk to pay £700k for a 3 series with a bodykit then fair play to them. I like it.Rich B wrote: Thu Nov 24, 2022 1:39 pmwhen you're paying the price of 10 M3s for it, then yeah, it's not really good enough.
