So now Elon isn't enforcing his new rules if he doesn't like the person being impersonated..

I reckon they need Beany and about 3 others. It's only a bit of text and the odd meme.

I always laugh when people are discredited for being given money by their parents. It's a huge privilege which can provide a head start, that's for sure, so I'll check that. However, there are millions of people who have been given/inheritied tons of money, from a few thousand upwards and 99.9% of them are not millionaires. It still takes a special talent to take 50k/100k/1m and multiply it, rather than simply spend it.

Hasn't Trump taken his father's money and turned it into a smaller sum than he inherited?

I don't think anyone is saying Musk doesn't have any talent, he's definitely fallen into that fallacy of thinking because he was successful in one place he can be successful anywhere.

I also think that Musk only gets picked up on it so much because he tried to downplay how well off he was when he was young.

Trump's presidency had a negative effect on his business. For many years he was a brash, objectionable figure, however when he became president that was multiplied and seemed to have a toxic effect on his businesses, which would tie in with not recovering post-2020.

that and passing other people's achievements as his own. Or at least allowing people to think other people's achievements are his and not correcting them...

But for me, it was the way he went after that Diver who rescued those Kids in the cave. an incredible and entirely unnecessary level of cuntishness...

"planning to starve"

That's a bit hyperbolic even by my standards FFS.

Aye, the idea that not having an open buffet of free food served all day is equivalent to starvation is a blisteringly privileged swipe at the ~800 million people in the world who are actually starving.

Of course no one will be starving, but It sounds like he's looking to destroy any culture they have (which is something Twitter always played on as strong - Tweeps). Removing WFH, previously enjoyed benefits, job security, etc will just lead to people leaving.

Stuff like providing food isn't just a free gift - it keeps people in the building, eating with their colleagues, more collaboration and working longer hours. It's Elons choice if he doesn't buy into that thinking - but treating well qualified people with plenty of transferable skills badly is obviously a risk.

Verification is going back to the way it was, more or less. Whether it's part of Blue, chargable or not is yet to be seen.
