2012-2015 so S3 Exige S manual was nearly done by the time I arrived, then Roadster and IPS.Jobbo wrote: Sun Nov 13, 2022 7:19 am Rob, your time at Lotus was Elise S2/S3 era wasn’t it? So accurate![]()
Evora 400 was the main job at that time.
There were a few months of Fuji Esprit before it totally died too.
All a bit hazy now...

Re: Lotus Emira
You are all absolutely correct.
On a related note, the lci purple z4 has been quoted as bigger deposit and bigger monthly payments than the Emira. Z4 is a good car but no where near as special as the Lotus.

If he'd have really wanted one, he would have ordered it by now.

Re: Lotus Emira
i don't normally like yellow cars, but I think that's the best colour yet for them. I thought they looked a bit meh in blue/grey/black, but yellow looks fucking awesome to me.
Re: Lotus Emira
Yellow does suit it rather well.
I didn’t watch all of this, but interesting to see all the current colour options together.

The all silver wheels are a million times nicer than the black/diamond cut ones too.

Richard has donned the hat of correctness in this thread.
The yellow makes it look like a proper mini supercar, and diamond cut wheels are a trend which is well overdue sodding off.

Re: Lotus Emira
That’s stunning in yellow.
Has nobody on here succumbed yet and put a deposit down!?

Soooo close. That with the full black pack would probably be my choice. Although the current palette is rather limited….Simon wrote: Sun Nov 13, 2022 9:26 pm This is the correct spec. Everyone else is wrong.

Vid is a year old now, but Frank Stephenson comments on what he'd have done differently....
Re: Lotus Emira
Needs Scandal Green. Failing that, yellow will do.
Re: Lotus Emira
Even with the overly fussy wheels, it looks great in white to me….

Harry’s taken delivery
Re: Lotus Emira
2,500 miles in a week is good going.
Re: Lotus Emira
On the third display is that a Gallons Per Hour readout? I’ve only seen that on Volvos and plant machinery before - must be the Geely coming out.
How about not having a sig at all?

Keen to see the vids. A couple of different pics on his twatter.Mito Man wrote: Wed Nov 23, 2022 11:55 am On the third display is that a Gallons Per Hour readout? I’ve only seen that on Volvos and plant machinery before - must be the Geely coming out.
The VXR8 mpg display switched to gallons/hr when you weren’t moving. Big v8 idle at about 700rpm drank around 0.45 g/hr.
