Left over crest; tightens.

The photos above absolutely disprove that statement!

Unless he was trying to take all of those different loads at once (not a euphemism).

Re: Forum Roll Call BUT pictures rather than words
Yes good point. Were he looking to take onboard several loads at once, he really could do with a little more capacity.

I was surprised at how wide his back doors open.

Me too, and I'm even more surprised he might need even more width and depth than that to swallow the additional loads.

Not especially inspiring at the moment, even the Yeti is gone!

Light strip is GTS but no flared arches/cup wheels so I guess not? If i'm not mistaken it has S4 GT wheels so if its a manual i'm doubly jealous...

Re: Forum Roll Call BUT pictures rather than words
It's a vanilla S4, GG - from the last year of production (1991). It was damaged in a low-speed urban shunt in 1998 and the rear PU was replaced, by which point Porsche only had the GTS style ones available.
The wheels are similar to D90s but lighter - forged magnesium as used on the 944 Turbo "silver rose" cars and the 928 Club Sport. I was very, VERY lucky to snag a set when they came up for sale. I use the standard S4 Manhole Covers as winter wheels with snow tyres.

Here are my two:
I was keen on picking up an S4 for a long time given that they're the ones I actually remember being ferried around in as a kid. As time goes by, however, I think I'm leaning more towards an (80's appropriate white) pre-facelift such as my dad's first one, below but an '86.5 model year S2 from 1986 rather than his earlier 928S, though obviously if anyone knows the whereabouts of A884 HEC I'd be making an offer...PreacherCain wrote: ↑Mon Apr 16, 2018 2:50 pm It's a vanilla S4, GG - from the last year of production (1991).

And a few others
Re: Forum Roll Call BUT pictures rather than words
At the risk of sounding a bit too 'boy racer', it would look much better on bigger wheels with spacers.
