Do they even qualify as seats?

£20k asked for a Tomcat. :shock:

Edit: also ad excitedly states “6k miles”. It’s done 6968 miles… :lol:

I feel dirty saying it but I quite like this; https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-detail ... 500&page=8
Hmm; it's the colour scheme, roof, and 4wd that appeals rather than the vessel carrying them.

This has got to be worth building along the lines of a Rallye;

This isn't quite what it appears;

A VVC or K20 would suit it well :P

That's a Bieber conversion; one of my life regrets is not buying a mk1 in the early 90s when I had the chance. Marlin, a kit car company, had the moulds for the mk2 a (fair) few years back (they probably converted the car in the ad, don't know why it's on a Q plate though :?) but I don't know if they exist any more. Bieber did various cars; mk1 Astra, mk1 Fiesta, mk2 Golf (they might have done a mk1 as well), mk2 Polo, and probably plenty more I can't remember. There were at least two more rhd mk2 Sciroccos done; a Storm, and a basic spec white one. Recently-ish there'd been a Viper Green one at shows, not sure if it another one or the white one redone.

That appears to be a very reasonable price for a very rare car that looks in very good condition ?

Deffo needs a white background and an extra £10k on the price.

Do any aftermarket conversions attract premium values? There’s a reason it’s not been photographed with the roof up. Like a 2-seat mk1 Golf cabrio with a massive boot and less integrity, I imagine.

This has been listed again - about the fifth time - yet it's had bids every time. Either it's a pooper upon inspection or it isn't making the money he wants, in which case just put a price ffs :x

A pity the A2 derv isn't a 90bhp, this would be a pleasant addition; https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325375245744 ... Swmohi8SAj

Aside from another couple of bits (and if it was correctly '83 registered it wouldn't have the side repeaters) this rear quarter colour and boot alignment is offputting;

I quite like the Scirocco tbh, it would be fun to have for a summer.

I've got a brain worm thanks to seeing that 205 above, the dimma kitted one in the spotted thread and reading an article about a GTI-6 conversion. Adding a widebody GTI-6 205 to the list of projects I'll never get round to.
