Anyone want a cheap R8 ?

Post by samoht »

The original R8 is looking rather good these days, the same car that won all those group tests back in 2007.

And this example is a one owner V8 car with the open-gate manual box, (apparently) full Audi service history, and up for just £23k.

Surely there must be a catch, you say? Well, there are one or two issues, starting with the 180k miles on the clock...
But still, it's tempting.

I’d rather pay ~£40k for a low-ish mileage one. Shouldn’t lose anything in value over time.

Which would have been £35k a few months ago :(

For that money, I’d take a Vantage with almost half the miles.

That’s not a price I ever expected a Vantage to get down to. Perfect pub landlord car.

I guess that’s marginally better than a drug dealer Audi :D

Never mind the R8, how's the RX-7?
